For the first time in some time, I'm extremely happy and content... What a beautiful day with its perfect weather for walking home from the university. ^^ Ah how it makes me happy to see dead, dried and shrivelled grass peaking out beneath dwindling snow.

12:27 pm - Really!?!?! How odd....

Well, I just went to McNally Robinson's site, and on the first page was a blurb on Terry Pratchett who I heard a bit about from some people, so I decided to read it (why are all the writer's getting life threatening/mentality affecting diseases? It's really quite sad...) Underneath it was a blurb about the X-Men and Wolverine becoming a manga series, and then the next blurb REALLY caught my eye...

"Wheel of Time Heir has been Named..." and I was like "Whut!?". Apparently after the untimely death of RJ, his wife chose a young author by the name of Brandon Sanderson to write the final book of the WOT series expected to be released in the fall of 2009. I'm happy with the idea that I will get to read about my favourite character again... but at the same time, I'm unsure about how I feel in regards to getting a replacement author, it seems very... cruel almost. He just past away and the fans are all, "we needs our WOT finale!" Authors are dispensible I suppose, the story however, priceless.

8:01 pm - Tid bits on life in all its anticlimatic and boring reading goodness! Yum yum!

I, should actually be studying for my chemistry test tomorrow... SO that is why I'm here. Well anyways, we got our French Provincial Exam articles today along with the topic, and I'm fairly pleased with what we got for the theme, Héroïsme. There's even a really corny marvel comic as one of the articles, which is obviously in french, and is two pages long and absolutely hysterical by its pure corny insanity.
hmmm... that's really all I have to say.

2:41 pm - Gaps in astonishment

WHAT!? Terry Goodkind's last book, Confessor, that concludes his 11 book series is coming out Fall 2007!?!?! ALREADY!? I'm very pleased by this, but seriously? The 10th book was just recently out, and it has yet to be sold in paperback format (Which I'm waiting for before I buy and read it). I really hope he isn't toying with his readers...

2:45 pm - Oh my... Silly Kitty :3
My kitty cat won't let me do my homework... She keeps laying on my paper, and rolling over and over, covering notes and then attacking my pencil, eating my pencil, and licking my hand, so that I will solely concentrate on her...

I <3 my kitty!

5:36 pm - *Applauds no one in particular with a big funny grin on her face*
*GASP* :D

I just accidentally found out something I've been dying to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was reading Robert Jordan's blog, one to see how he's been going with his illness, (And wow, he's quite the character), and to see if there is anything about a new book. And know what, today there was :) It just mentioned the title and how Mat and Tuon are getting about, so I googled the title, and guess what! It's the conclusive book of the whole darned series!!!!! Number 12, and the last one! It'll come out around 2008 (earliest), which is too bad, because I'll not remember all that much from the previous 11 books, because there are about a billion characters, but hey! my favourite character will be back, and that completely makes my day!

8:47 pm - Hyperactive bluejays!
I saw two beautiful bluejays when I was walking home today from school. They were leaping from random branch to branch of a tree and then onto a house, screeching really really loudly. They lept so... quickly it seemed like they were completely hyper! But one thing that I found was truly great about those two birds was that they were such a vibrant contrast against the monotonous greys and dismal colours of a late autumn/snowless winter scene! I had to pause and watch them for a moment.

4:59 pm - Dracula and his wig-hat!
I've had an up and down day, but what certainly made this afternoon better was the fact that 'Dracula Dead and Loving It' was on! It's one of my all-time top favorites!

(Different scenes I really like, and I got the dialogue from the internet, I'm not that obsessed to know all these parts line by exact line, jeez people, I'm just weird enough to copy them and then post them on Live Journal for my own amusement :P)
* * * * *

Mina Murray: Oh it makes me so happy to be at the Opera! I love this palace of art and beauty!
Jonathan Harker: Oh yes my dear, the Opera is astonishing! The music is frothed with love, hate, sensuality and unbridled passion!... All the things in my life I've managed to suppress so far.

***

(Lucy has come onto Jonathon as a vampire, Van Helsing comes to his rescue. Lucy returns to her crypt, Jonathon and Helsing follow)

Jonathon: (looks down onto Lucy in her coffin.) Well now she's certainly dead.
Helsing: No, she isn't.
Jonathon: You mean she's alive!?
Helsing: No, she's Nosferatu.
Jonathon: She's italian!(Irritated glance from Helsing)

(Skip some lines)

Jonathon: (Given a stake to put into Lucy's heart) This is horrid... Is there no other way!?
Helsing: There is one other way! We could... cut off her head, stuff her mouth with garlic... and cut off her ears!
Jonathon: Give me the stake... No I can't do it, you do it!
Helsing: It must be done by someone who loved her in life!
Jonathon: I only liked her.
Helsing: Close enough.

***

(Van Helsing, Dr. Steward and Jonathon are discussing about the possibility of who could be the vampire, Count Dracula walks in. There's a bit a talking and then...)
Helsing: Count Dracula. Hmmm, curious. Are you descended from Vlad Tapish? The first Dracula?
Dr. Steward: Tapish?
Helsing: Ya. It means 'The Impaler'. He was a blood-thirsty butcha. He inflicted unspeakable tortures on the peasants: cutting off their hands and feet, gouging out their eyes and then impaling them on iron spikes!
(Pause, as Jonathon and Dr. Steward looked apalled.)
Dracula: (Says nonchalantly) They had it coming.

***

Jonathan Harker: Are you saying that Count Dracula is our vampire?
Van Helsing: Yes!... and no...
Jonathan Harker: Then what are you saying?
Van Helsing: I'm saying no. But I'm leeeeaning towards yes.
Dr. Steward: Then you're saying yes.
Van Helsing: No.
Dr. Steward: Then you're saying no.
Van Helsing: Not necessarily.
Jonathan Harker: You sound dubious.
Van Helsing: No -I'm positive!
Jonathan Harker: Of what?
Van Helsing: Of my theory!
Jonathan Harker: And that would be?
Van Helsing: The theory of Yes- (slight pause) or no.
* * * * *

X3 I <3 it so much, it's great! Yes, yes, I'm sad, but it brings back a whole bunch of great memories, and it's an ubberful amount of fun!

~Happy Thanksgiving everyone!~

1:17 am - Photoshop frustrations, and questions!
I'll be blunt, I'm oblivious when it comes to photoshop usage, but man is it fun to fiddle around with...

My question, when colouring, why doesn't it colour the whole area up to the inked lines? There is always a blotchy-like white border that doesn't seem to want to get filled in around the inside of the hair and such, and I was wondering how to fix that. I don't know if anyone knows what I'm talking about, but I'd absolutely adore some advice!

8:15 pm - Productivity blues

It is now 8:00 tonight, and I'm done my Math. Today, at this instant, is probably the only free time this week I'm going to get, and I should do a lot of things...

1) Work on play.
2) Draw, (practice, practice practice)
3) Do Guatemala paper thing *sigh* (Don't worry Scarlet, I'll work on it, sometime, and get it done)
4) Acting homework. (Write my calender of things this year, make skit thing, reading skit...)
5) Work on a story.
6) Other things that I can't think of right now...

But dang nabbit people, I just want to read my book, but... it won't get me anywhere in anything on my list of very very important things I should work on for a lot of them are due at some time in the near future. *sigh* opens "The Drawing of Three" by Stephen King and reluctantly begins to read

3:37 pm - Pure deliciousness!!! ^-^
YUMMY! Oh my, I went to this Gelati store that opened up earlier this summer on confusion corner today, and wow they have a crazy selection!!! Out of the 70 something or another gelati flavours and other fruit/delicious sounding snacks, I finally decided on ordering a Strawberry Fruit Tea Smoothie... AND IT WAS EXTRAORDINARILY GOOD! I very much recommend this place to anyone interested or near by it!
